  • Praise from a Fellow Educator

John Hopper has been a great experience for me as an educator. He knows how to get the information across in a manner that is clear and concise for each student.

The one-on-one consultations offer students time and space to sort through their thoughts and find what their strengths are, as well as what areas could be made stronger. John will talk students through their thought processes and get them past any processing blocks they may have.

He has helped many of my students manage their time and learn how to summarize their thoughts better. I highly recommend Crested Peak Consultants.

  • It has been a Transformational Experience

I am blown away by the transformation I have seen in my son. And, I’m so grateful to John Hopper for his instrumental role in this growth! We have worked very closely with John for several years and have watched our son take leaps and bounds as a result of John’s coaching and encouragement. Not only was John willing to learn a whole new method of tutoring that we felt would be a better match for our son and his reading challenges, but he has gone above and beyond to teach our son great note-taking skills, study habits, organizational skills and writing skills! Our son has moved into high school with tremendous success, independence and confidence! It’s been beyond gratifying for all of us! Thank you John for a total success story!!!

    Forever Grateful

When I met John Hopper my son was in middle school. My son was struggling for several years with learning how to read. We, as parents, tried various tutors with different approaches. We were concerned and discouraged as our child continued to struggle to learn how to read. My constant thought was...how does a child succeed in life with out reading skills?

John’s method of teaching was unique. I had never been exposed to a multi-sensory reading and comprehension program. His techniques included a focus on written skills development. This was fruitful helping to connect the dots in a comprehensive way that empowered my son to read.

We are forever grateful to John. He possesses immense patience, consistency, knowledge and expertise. Today my son is a successful business owner. Thank you John for your invaluable work. I would highly recommend John to anyone who’s child struggles with learning and/or reading challenges.

  • From There to Here

    Hi John,

I know it has been years, BUT, I thought you should know that Julian is now in 11th grade and he just received his acceptance to DU. He is in 11th grade and has a 4.1 GPA. ALL in accelerated coursework. Remember when he was going to be held back academically from the ski team?? He has also made the RMD All Star ski race team! It’s amazing! You are excellent at what you do, John. That first summer with you was really rough! He really pushed back, but I knew it was worth it! All those years when I paid out the $$$ that could have been spent on vacation- totally worth it!! I don't think we would be here from there without your tireless and consistent work with him on literacy skills development and academic support.

Thank you from all of us!

    We made it THERE!

  • From Dyslexia to Success, A Student's Sister Tells the Story of her Brother

My brother had dyslexia and couldn’t read when he was in the 2nd grade. My parents did everything to keep him engaged in school. He was behind in school and needed someone to help him get back on track. This would include someone who had the skills to help him learn to read and learn writing skills if he was to succeed in the future.

John has an incredible talent to teach reading and writing in a way that my brother could understand. For five years, John worked with Taylor building a foundation that he used throughout school. Today my brother is confident and extremely successful. I don’t think he would have done well in school without John’s guidance and his ability to break down reading and writing in a way that helped Taylor overcome his dyslexia.
